I was unsure if this was the best computer for just under $600.00. As soon as it arrived and was plugged in, my fear subsided. Excellent, efficient, I have a Macbook so was thinking of getting a PC desktop, and now am locked in to Mac for life. They work better and are more intelligently designed. If you don't see a follow up comment 3-6 mos. down the line, I'm still a happy customer.<br /><br /><strong>My Mac mini saved me hundreds of $ in cable bills</strong><br />It's great to have the latest o/s and apps that come with it. It has been a great value. I hooked it up to my TV and now only get basic cable - the resulting savings was over $700 / year therefore it will pay for itself in the first year. I got a wireless "loop" mouse and keyboard to go with it which completed the package for me and all works great. I would recommend it to any one who can afford to pay around $700 for the mini and peripherals.<br /><br /><strong>Fast and simple</strong><br />Easy to set up and bug free...least expensive entry into Intel core2duo world...my slower, no DVD mini is in another room now soon to be movie center, aka apple TV.<br /><br /><strong>small neet computer</strong><br />wife , it was her christmas gift, she loves it.<br /><br />better than her old Dell !!!!<br /><br /><strong>New Mac Mini.....</strong><br />To my surprise, Santa delivered a Mac Mini to our house this past Christmas and indeed it is small, able to be placed on the desk rather than on the floor. Although the setup is simplified due to the introduction discs, one can also utilize "mac help" (free for three months) for additional assistance. <br /><br />So far there are no issues; however, one must be prepared to adapt to the Mac system, which for most won`t be an issue. The unit is quite fast, responsive, and has sufficient capacity for storage. Highly recommended.<br /><br />R.
